We arrived in BKK at approximately 3:20pm local time. Our connection time was less than 2 hours, wouldn’t want it any shorter; especially since all our flights thus far had left late (thanks de-icing). But alas, delays, and by 7:30, even a Thai tea couldn’t sway me into indifference.

Anyways…

We’re here now!

We caught the first boat to Koh Kood the next day (March 9th/2017) and it’s been lovely.

We grabbed some noodle soup for breakfast, the taxi (included in tickets) picked us up at 9 (in Trat) boat left at 10:45. Arrived at pier at 12. The 9th went well. Boonsiri wasn’t terribly packed, waters weren’t terribly rough. Arrival at Relax House by 1. And then it’s all a bit of a blur after that. Swim, eat, sleep, rinse, repeat. The owners of the joint are still the sweetest beings. Beyond sweet. Beyond perfect.
